Astel Class

As each class has unique set of skills and stats, you need to find an Astel that is most efficient against the chosen foe. Astels can be one of seven classes: Knight, Warrior, Assassin, Archer, Mage, Scholar, and Muse.

Astel Types

Every Astel has a type category in addition to class. These are Servant, Guardian, and Savior. Each type of Astel has different abilities, including summoning cost, summoning time, and skill sets. Because of this, it's wise to summon an Astel who can provide the best tactical advantage for the given situation.

Saviors require a lot of AP to summon, but do not consume any AP while summoned.

Guardians cost more AP than Servants to summon and maintain.

Summon Astels

To summon an Astel, click the equipped Astel or press the shortcut key. To add an Astel to the deck, right-click an Astel card from Astel Encyclopedia or drag it to the Astel deck located in the bottom right section of the screen. You can't add or remove one from the deck while in combat. Customize your deck to implement your own strategies.

Unsummon Astels

  • Summoned Astels are unsummoned when the duration ends or Atra Points reach 0.
  • They are also unsummoned when their HP reaches 0 or their master dies.
  • To forcibly unsummon an Astel, right-click an Astel from the deck or press Shift + F1 - F8.
    • Press V to unsummon all the active Astels except for Savior Astels.
  • Unsummoned Astels can't be resummoned during their cooldown.
  • The summoning cooldown is increased if the Astel has low HP. (If an Astel is unsummoned while its HP is 100%, the Astel can be immediately resummoned.)


Controlling Astels

In combat, it's important to take control of your summoned Astels. Your Astel control skills determine the difficulty of any PvE or PvP encounter. You can switch Astels' combat stance by using shortcut keys or the buttons to the left of the Astel hotbar.

Commanding Astels

  • By using F1 - F8, you can order Astels to attack individual targets.
  • Press H to cancel all the current orders and make Astels wait for further commands.
  • Astels in wait mode do not actively take part in combat, so be careful.


Astel's AI Mode

Astels support their Astellians by attacking enemies and healing allies, all controlled by AI. You can select from different AI modes to respond to a variety of situations. If you need to an immediate intervention or AI is suboptimal, you can directly control your Astels.


Astel AI Modes

  • Aggressive Mode: Actively seeks and attacks target even when their Astellian is not under attack or attacking enemies.
  • Active Mode: Attacks the enemies who attack their Astellian, other Astels, or party members even without an attack order.
  • Passive Mode: Does not enter combat unless their Astellian is attacked or they receive an attack order.
  • Long Range Mode: Attacks targets within 35 meters of the Astellian.
  • Short Range Mode: Attacks targets within 5 meters of the Astellian.
  • Focused Attack Mode: Orders summoned Astels to focus on the designated target.
  • Unsummon All: Unsummon all the active Astels.
  • Waiting Mode: Cancels all current orders and makes the Astels wait for further orders.


Astel Skills

Astels of different classes have a wide range of skills and they are optimal when they fight beside their master. There are four skills for Astels: Basic, Appearance, Special Skill, and Co-op Skill. Astel Skills

  • Basic Skills: These AI-based skills are automatically used.
  • Special Skills: These are active skills that need to be manually controlled.
  • Appearance Skills: These skills are triggered when the Astel is summoned.
  • Collaboration Skills: These skills are used in combination with the character's skills.

  • Special skills can be accessed with the F1 - F8 keys according to the order they are added to the deck.


Astel Growth

Astels become more powerful as they gain levels and grades when you spend time and resources on them. As they gain levels and tiers, they become stronger and may learn new skills. Use the Synchronize button to keep the level progression of the Astel even with that of their master. Doing so may cost you Asper.

Leveling up Astels

  • The XP gained with your character is shared with the Astels in your deck.
  • Astel levels can't exceed that of the master. You must first gain levels with your character before you can gain levels with Astels.


Increasing Astel Grade

  • If you gain a duplicate Astel, your Astel gains grade experience (SP).
  • Once an Astel's SP reaches the max, its star grade is increased, up to 5 Star.
  • Once an Astel reaches 3 Stars, they can learn new skills. Each new grade offers a large stat boost. - Grade is independent from level.


Astel Stat Enhancement

Astels can increase their stats by gaining levels and grades. They are also affected by the character's stats. For example, if the character's stats are enhanced, their Astels' stats also increase. When the character is equipped with treasure equipment, their Astels' stats are also increased, depending on the power of that treasure.

Equipping Star Jewels

An Astel can't use equipment like characters do, but they can be equipped with Star Jewels that can boost their stats. Star Jewels come in 5 different grades: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Heroic, and Legendary. The higher the grade, the better the stat bonuses.

Astel Deck Buffs

If the total points of the Astels added to the deck exceed a certain number, an Astel Deck Buff is activated. The amount of deck points depend on the Astels' grade. More deck points mean better benefits. Upon reaching 9 or more deck points activate the Grade 1 bonus. 15 or more deck points activate the Grade 2 bonus. 24 or more points activate the Grade 3 bonus.

If the total points of the Astels added to the deck exceed a certain number, an Astel Deck Buff is activated.
